fit to deliver Are you ready to have the healthiest pregnancy possible? A wide variety of cardio, resistance, and flexibility training designed to train your body to perform at its best. You will be challenged, but never asked to do more than you can safely do. Individual modifications will be made for your comfort Programs t level, stage of pregnancy and fitness level.

prenatal pilates Are you expecting and looking to prepare your body and mind for labour? Practicing prenatal Pilates will allow you to stay fit and relaxed during this important time in your life. Learning the principles of centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow will help you during your pregnancy and the birth of your baby. Improve your posture while strengthening your body as it changes: focus on your abdominal, back, and pelvic muscles to assure that your pregnancy and labour are more comfortable, and strengthen your arms and legs to keep you and your baby moving.

prenatal yoga Join a practice that will strengthen your body and your spirit: Asanas, the physical poses, can help build strength and stamina and improve circulation. Meditation can improve the abilities to relax and to concentrate. Pranayama, breathing exercises, can help manage the pain of contractions. The process of birth is not a Hollywood script, it is work made of muscle, mind, sweat, and love. By toning the body, focusing the mind, and challenging the spirit, yoga can help a mother be present for the miracle of birth. Take this time to get to know your body and to build confidence in your ability to give birth. If you have never done yoga before, the second trimester is a great time to start. Your instructor will provide options for postures based on your trimester and for your comfort.
