ArenasServus Credit Union Place has three NHL sized ice arenas - the Performance Arena, the Mark Messier Arena and the Troy Murray Arena. Performance Arena With seating for 2,023 (excluding standing room), the Performance Arena is home to the AJHL's St. Albert Steel hockey team and hosted the 2011 Continental Cup of Curling. Mark Messier Arena The Mark Messier Arena opened in 1992 as part of the Campbell Twin Arenas, which were added onto the Servus Credit Union place as part of the construction. Named in honour of St. Albert's famous son and hockey star, Mark Messier came home on February 27, 2007 to see the rededication of the arena in his name. Troy Murray Arena The Troy Murray Arena was part of Campbell Twin Arenas and opened in 1992, which was expanded to create Servus Credit Union Place. It is named after Troy Murray who played in the NHL for 15 years and was a member of the St. Albert Saints Hockey Team.
