Today's seniors are more active and health conscience than previous generations. At Servus Place, we've made the health and wellness of our seniors a top priority by offering programs and classes for the spirit, mind and body. Our programs offer seniors a chance to increase their strength and flexibility, meet new friends and increase mobility.Our Seniors' Day takes place the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Join us for a workout in the fitness centre, a walk on the track, or a class in the pool or fitness studio. Then come and enjoy snacks and refreshments on the second floor concourse from 10:30 am to noon.

gentle fit - silver series
Simple moves, great music and gentle exercise, this class will focus on fun-ctional fitness. Combining a great social setting to meet some new friends with a program that works your heart and muscles in an all - inclusive fitness class.

fridays, 9:30 – 10:30 am
cost: drop in admission or membership required

gentle strength - silver series
Improve balance, coordination, and bone density in this group strength class. This program is geared towards making everyday activities easier! Join us and have some fun in this friendly social setting.

wednesdays, 10:45 – 11:45 am
cost: drop in admission or membership required

flow
This class incorporates yoga, pilates and/or fitness movements to balance both mind and body. This is a gentle practice and is designed for drop-in students. Leave this class feeling lighter, less stressed and more balanced. If you wish to progress further in your pilates or yoga practice, please refer to our registered programs.

KINESIS™ silver
Move your body and your mind! This class will progressively develop your mind - body awareness, integrating muscular stability, muscular endurance, mobility, balance and coordination. This gentle approach will give you the time and practice in order to evolve through three - dimensional movement. KINESIS™ will change the way you move!

KINESIS™ silver foundation
Take your KINESIS™ up a level to introduce foundation movements. This new series of movements will progressively build a solid foundation of exercises to challenge muscular endurance, balance, coordination, and flexibility through multiple planes of movement, including trunk rotation and bending.
Each class will be held to a maximum of four people.
KINESIS™ silver is a pre-requisite for KINESIS™ silver foundation

NEW – senior spin and stretch
This is your chance to keep your body and mind strong while trying out our spin bikes. Spin is a great cardiovascular workout and can be done at your own pace. 30 minutes of spin followed by 30 minutes of fusion stretch will keep you strong and limber!

NEW – TRX for seniors
TRX is a revolutionary strength and conditioning system that uses your own body weight as resistance. Since you can adapt how much resistance you use by adjusting your body position, suspension training is safe and effective for all people of all fitness levels. This class will focus on building overall strength, endurance, balance, and core stability for seniors.

warm water workout – silver series
Join us for this instructor led program that takes place in our warm, shallow-water pool. This program is designed for people with arthritis, those looking to increase their mobility or those who just want to have a good workout. No swimming skills are required just the desire to have fun!

Zumba gold
Zumba gold targets the largest growing segment of the population: baby boomers. It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba Fitness-Party is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere. This is a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun.
